How will the facilities be managed in the future?

A new volunteer management committee is being assembled to run the facility. The committee will consist of a general manager, a treasurer, people responsible for H&S, marketing and bookings. In March 2016 we employed an on onsite warden, who lives in the refurbished Coach House. The warden is a key person in the running of the site. As well as being responsible the security and upkeep of the site, he will manage the arrivals and departures of site users and look after them during their stay.

Once modernised, the facility will be used by all and will be available 52 weeks a year. It will be a centre for youth activities and will be hired out commercially. Our aim is to run the site to be self-funding.
