Planning Permission Received

On December 9th 2014 the Forest of Dean District Council Planning Committee unanimously approved our planning application for the Scout House site.

Councillor Artur Thomas (Ind. Newland & St. Briavels) said ” I live close to this house and I can personally vouch that it’s been at the centre of scouting activities since the Second World War. It’s a great asset to the village, especially as it is aimed at the youth of today. It’s nice to see the plans have been drawn up to bring this building up to date.”
